The GDPR gives you rights over personal data that an organisation holds about you. Patrons App holds none, which makes most of these unusually easy to answer.

Are you a controller of my data?

No. A data controller determines the purposes and means of processing personal data that it holds or receives. Patrons App transmits nothing to us and we operate no servers, so no personal data of yours ever comes into our possession, custody or control. Your name, UPI ID and photo are processed only on your own device, by you.

We state this plainly rather than claiming a lawful basis for processing we do not do.

Your rights, and how they are met

Access (Art. 15)	Everything we could show you is already on your screen, in Settings. We hold no additional copy.
Rectification (Art. 16)	Edit your name, UPI ID or photo in Settings at any time.
Erasure (Art. 17)	Clear the fields in Settings, or uninstall the app. That is a complete erasure, because there is no server copy.
Restriction (Art. 18)	Close the app. Broadcasting stops immediately.
Portability (Art. 20)	Your data is a name, a UPI ID and a photo you already have. There is nothing for us to export.
Objection (Art. 21)	We carry out no processing to object to. Uninstalling ends all use.
Automated decisions (Art. 22)	None. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.

What about the Bluetooth broadcast?

When you open the app, your display name is broadcast to nearby devices. You control this entirely: it happens only while the app is open, and you choose what name to use. It is a direct device-to-device transmission that we neither observe nor record.

International transfers

None occur. No data is transmitted to us, so nothing is transferred anywhere, whether inside or outside the EEA or UK.

Retention

Your data is kept on your device for as long as you keep the app installed, and no longer.
